Hon. Alhaji Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello (DRE) has called for peace, unity, and fairness ahead of the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election scheduled for 16th August 2025.
He stressed that the most fitting tribute to the late Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya) who passed on January 15, 2025 is to ensure a transparent, credible, and democratic process that truly reflects the will of the people.
Hon. Dre urged all political actors, supporters, and constituents to uphold justice, accountability, and mutual respect, reinforcing unity as the constituency prepares for the polls.
“Our late sister stood for truth and fairness. Let us honour her by making this bye-election a model of integrity and peace,” Hon. Dre stated.
