Members of the Okuru Ama community surveillance group in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have apprehended a suspected notorious armed robber identified as Promise.
The arrest was made around 3:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2025, following intelligence gathered by the surveillance team.
The surveillance team received a tip-off about the suspect's activities.The Golf Estate security unit, led by Commander TK, acted quickly and arrested the suspect.
The suspect was brought to the Okuru Ama main gate by the team, led by the Chief Security Officer, F. Peters.
Promise, a native of Ogoni, has allegedly been terrorising various parts of Port Harcourt. The community surveillance group's efforts have led to his capture, potentially bringing relief to residents in the area.
