In his continued effort to promote grassroots development and community health, Hon. Alh. Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello (Dre), Member representing Sagamu Constituency 1 at the Ogun State House of Assembly, has donated ₦200,000 to the Association of Sabo Youth Leaders (ASSYL) for the purchase of environmental sanitation tools.
The donation was made to support ASSYL’s initiative aimed at improving hygiene and cleanliness across key areas of the Sabo axis. It will aid in acquiring necessary sanitation gadgets such as wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, brooms, and other equipment for routine environmental maintenance.
“ Empowering youth-led initiatives like ASSYL is one of the ways we ensure that development begins from within. Clean environments are not only healthy, they show the dignity and order of a people” Hon. Dre remarked.
ASSYL leadership expressed their appreciation for the timely intervention and pledged to use the support judiciously to sustain a cleaner and healthier Sabo.
This gesture further reflects Hon. Dre’s inclusive approach to governance, fostering local leadership, and uplifting community-based efforts through targeted support.
