ABEOKUTA– Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun state council has passed a vote of confidence on the Wale Olarenwaju led executives.
Moving the vote of confidence at the May, 2025 Congress of the Union held at its Secretariat at Iwe iroyin, Comrade Emmanuel Oke stated that the ‘Wale Olanrewaju-led administration has successfully executed over sixteen tangible projects within the council secretariat in two and a half years in office.
He mentioned that
underscored the existing amity among members and also emphasized unprecedented welfare of member being the bastion for the rapid transformation the Council has experienced.
Oke, in this light of this therefore moved that the Wale Olarenwaju led administration has done well to deserve a pat in the back, which was later seconded by Comrade Busayo Faleti

“The Congress expresses gratitude to Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, for his generous donations of a comprehensive 12KW 48V/200A Solar Power System, ten solar-powered streetlights, and twenty laptops for the council and welfare of our members. This commitment of the transformative power of renewable energy will resonate through our work and the stories we tell every day while his rare support remains invaluable to our Council.
