Nitel-Mtel pensioners write with immense gratitude and deep admiration to commend your unwavering commitment to the welfare and dignity of Nigerian Pensioners.
Your motion titled “Urgent Need to Address the Non-Payment of Pension Increment and Withholding of Approved Palliative by the Government” stands as a powerful testament to your empathy, patriotism, and fearless representation of the most vulnerable in our
society.
At a time when many voices have grown silent, yours rose powerfully on the floor of the National Assembly to affirm the value of those who dedicated their productive years to building this nation.
Your recognition of our suffering from withheld pension increments to the delayed disbursement of presidential palliatives is not just a political act, it is a deeply humane intervention. You have brought visibility, legitimacy and renewed hope to thousands of elderly citizens who have long felt forgotten.
Your words, your courage, and your sense of justice have resonated beyond the walls of the Assembly. You have spoken for Pensioners in the language of truth and compassion and we are truly moved.
The thoroughness of your motion, the agencies identified, the call for a task force and your appeal for transparency and collaboration all reflect your thorough understanding and sincere dedication to solving this national challenge.
In a nation where the plight of pensioners is often dismissed, your action has restored faith and dignity. You have reminded us that service to our country does not end in neglect and
that justice can still find a voice in our democratic institutions.
We thank you Honourable Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, not just for what you have done, but for who you are — a genuine advocate of the people, a defender ofthe voiceless and a man of conscience. May God bless and reward you richly.
