President Donald Trump has expressed sadness over his predecessor, Joe Biden’s new aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis.
Trump, in a statement shared on the Truth Social on Sunday, put aside the political rivalry between them to wish his predecessor well.
Expressing sadness about the development, Trump wrote, “Melania and I are saddened about Joe Biden recent medical diagnosis.
“We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and family, and wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”
Biden was diagnosed with aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bone on Friday.
