
At the Ansar-ud-Deen Society’s 101st anniversary in Abeokuta, President Bola Tinubu, represented by Ogun State’s Deputy Governor, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to economic reforms and supporting the poor.
Tinubu stated, “We are focused on reviving the economy, uplifting the poor and restoring confidence in public institutions.” He urged Nigerians to uphold peace, equity, and justice.
He recognized the Ansar-ud-Deen Society’s role in education and social development, saying, “The society has become a critical pillar of our national fabric.” Tinubu encouraged Muslims to promote justice and peaceful coexistence, noting the relevance of the conference’s theme in today’s diverse world.
The President called for the conference to generate practical solutions for issues like youth development and economic empowerment. National President Dr. Abdulrafiu Sanni highlighted the society’s ongoing commitment to education and unity, inviting collaboration with government and other organizations.
