Posters of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, bearing the inscription “Kaura for President 2027”, have surfaced across key locations in the state capital, sparking speculation about a possible presidential bid.
The posters were spotted on roundabouts, electric poles, and signboards along prominent streets such as Railway Road, Sabon Titin Karofi, and Kofar Dumi.
One of the youths involved in the poster campaign, Aminu Auwal, revealed that two political figures—Ya’u Ortega and Talolo—had contracted them to paste the posters.
“We were directed to post the governor’s posters along major streets in Bauchi. We began the work around 1am and expect to complete it today,” Auwal said.
Attempts to reach Ortega and Talolo for comment were unsuccessful, as their phone numbers were unreachable at the time of filing this report.
