NNPC Cuts Petrol Prices To N880 In Lagos, N935 In Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced a reduction in the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, at its filling stations in Lagos and Abuja.

Matrix gathered that NNPC retail outlets were selling petrol at N880 per litre in Lagos and N935 per litre in Abuja. This price change reflects a N45 decrease from the previous price of N925 per litre in Lagos, and a N15 reduction from the earlier N950 per litre in Abuja.

This price reduction comes just days after the Dangote refinery lowered the ex-gantry price of petrol to N890 per litre.

Following this move, several key partners of the refinery also reduced their petrol pump prices to N890 per litre in Lagos, down from the previous price of N920 per litre on April 16.
