Popular Nigerian artist 2Baba, born Innocent Idibia, has reconciled with his mother, Mrs. Rosemary Idibia, amid ongoing rumors about his alleged marriage to Honourable Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker from Edo State.
Mrs. Idibia previously made a public plea for Natasha Osawaru to “free” her son, claiming he was under distress. The family escalated the matter by filing a missing person report with the Department of State Services, stating that 2Baba had disappeared after leaving his home on February 10, 2025.
However, recent footage shows a positive development as 2Baba and his mother were seen together, smiling and posing for pictures alongside Natasha Osawaru and family friends. Natasha was also seen interacting playfully with 2Baba’s younger relatives.
2Baba has openly declared his love for Natasha Osawaru, confirming their relationship shortly after announcing his separation from his wife of 13 years, Annie Idibia. He stated, “Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool. I want to marry her,” and clarified that Natasha was not involved in his divorce.
A video from February 13, 2025, showed 2Baba proposing to Natasha in front of close friends, and she updated her social media bio to “Honourable Natasha IDIBIA,” suggesting a formal marriage. No further official statements have been made by the couple regarding their relationship or the family’s earlier disputes.
