“Ukraine Must Be Heard, Not Forgotten” – Zelenskiy Sends Defiant Message Amid Tense U.S. Talks

In a social media post on Saturday, Zelenskiy emphasized the urgency of keeping Ukraine’s plight in global focus, sharing footage from his meeting with the Ukrainian community in Washington.

His words came just a day after a tense and divisive White House meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, which further strained Kyiv’s relationship with its most crucial wartime ally.

“It is very important for us that Ukraine is heard and that no one forgets about it—neither during the war nor after. People in Ukraine must know they are not alone, that their interests are represented in every country, in every corner of the world.”

Zelenskiy had entered Friday’s Oval Office meeting hoping to secure renewed U.S. support for Ukraine’s fight against Russia’s ongoing invasion.

Instead, the talks devolved into acrimony, underscoring growing tensions between Kyiv and Washington.

With Ukraine’s future hanging in the balance, Zelenskiy’s message was clear: The world cannot turn away now.
