CHIEF IDOWU OLUDE CONGRATULATES AMB. ADESINA OGUNSOLA ON 100 DAYS IN OFFICE

Obafemi Owode, Ogun State – The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Chief Idowu Olude, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, on the successful completion of his first 100 days in office in his second term.

In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Chief Olude lauded the achievements of Amb. Ogunsola within the short period, describing them as remarkable, especially considering the financial and administrative constraints faced by local governments in Nigeria.

"I am indeed overwhelmed and unequivocally impressed that despite the non-implementation of local government autonomy, Amb. Adesina Ogunsola has demonstrated extraordinary leadership by initiating and executing impactful projects across all 12 wards of the local government," Chief Olude stated.

He specifically praised the Executive Chairman for the ongoing refurbishment of the Legislative Chamber, a project aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of the legislative arm of government in the local council.

Other commendable initiatives by the Ogunsola-led administration within the last 100 days include the planned distribution of 1,500 free exercise books to public primary school pupils, the grading and rehabilitation of roads across various towns and villages, and the facilitation of free distribution of over 3,000 gas cylinders to vulnerable women.

Chief Olude highlighted the significance of the gas cylinder distribution project, noting that it would help reduce the health hazards associated with cooking with firewood and charcoal, which expose users to harmful carbon monoxide inhalation.

While urging the residents of Obafemi Owode Local Government to continue supporting the APC-led administration, Chief Olude expressed confidence in Amb. Ogunsola’s leadership, stating that he remains committed to delivering more developmental projects that will uplift the living standards of the people.

He also extended his appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his unwavering support of Amb. Ogunsola’s administration and for ensuring the continuity of good governance in the local government.

"As we celebrate these achievements, I want to specially thank our father and number one leader of our great party in Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his magnanimity in supporting Amb. Ogunsola’s second term bid. His leadership has been a great blessing to the people of Obafemi Owode Local Government," Olude added.

He concluded by praying for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
