The Federal Government has said that it generated about N2.4 billion in 2024 from marriage contracts via its marriage registry at the Ministry of Interior.
Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made this known on Tuesday in Abuja during a media interface.
Tunji-Ojo said the ministry also generated over N3.2 billion from expatriate quota applications, saying overall, there was a 150 per cent increase in revenue generated.
