Ogun Lawmaker, Hon. Osho Commissions Three Major Projects In Remo

 

...As Former Deputy Governor Gives Kudos 

A former Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Senator Adegbenga Sefiu Kaka on Friday Commissioned three major  projects facilitated by a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Oluwaseyi Osho.

The projects were commissioned at different wards in Remo North local government of Ogun State where the former Deputy governor, Sen. Kaka commissioned water projects at Abattoir, Isara-Remo and Akaka Remo respectively.

Sen. Kaka also commissioned Doctor's Quarters and official handing over for use at Primary Health Centre Roundabout,Ode-Remo.

Present at the commissioning included the former Deputy Governor in Ogun State,  Senator Adegbenga Sefiu Kaka, HRH. Oba Adetunji Osho 

Alaye-Ode of Ode-Remo, HRH. Oba Samuel Kalejaiye, Nloku of Iraye, 

 Hon. Awolaja Dickson Kolawole member House of Assembly elect, Remo North State Constituency among others. 

Sen. Kaka commended Hon. Osho for delivering the projects despite having few days to spend in office. 

According to the former Deputy Governor, "the type of training we impact on our own people (politicians) will always let them know that they don’t just dream of any projects and thinks they will enforce it on people,  they should ask them (constituents) of their needs and ensure to do what will benefit them most, the real thing should be of benefits to them all."

"This is an outgoing personality having less than twenty five days to go, if it was to be some of the Nigerian politicians, they will just abandoned it, but because he was committed and ready to execute it to the glory of God and benefit of mankind he ensure that the project was completed."

 

We hope others will emulate this kind of dedication, Senator Kaka concluded. 

 

Alaye-Ode of Ode-Remo, HRH. Oba Adetunji Osho expressed excitement for witnessing the official commissioning saying that Osho actually did what the constituents demanded for.

His words "I am very happy to be here today to witness the official commissioning, Is a good thing for us to celebrate  because it's just a small project demanded by the Members."

"I am here with him  today, he has given us no matter what,no matter how small it is, it is what we demanded from him and he did it, he did it before the end of his term, so on this note ,we are very happy to be part of this project, to be part of the commissioning,and I want to pray that he will continue to grow from glory to glory"

Oba Adetunji also used the medium to celebrate Hon. Osho for witnessing another year celebration.

He said "I have to Wish Him happy birthday because is a double celebration for him, double joy infact Triple; because he commissioned three project today being his birthday and I want to use this opportunity to wish him happy birthday and Many happy returns"

On his parts, the lawmaker, Hon. Osho appreciated Sen. Kaka and other guests for honouring him.

He explained that despite having few days left to complete his tenure, there's need to construct and complete projects.

Hon Osho equally said he has used his May Five Foundation to empower and impact life positively since he founded it thirteen years ago.

According to him "We have some few days left to complete the tenure as member of the state assembly, we still need to construct the project for the benefits of the immediate candidate who are left behind."

"When my people decided to vote for me and send me to the Ogun state house of assembly to represent them,I promised them quality representation and with the kind of background that we have, and with the kind of party ideologies that we have, it is expected of me to fulfill all my promises to the society."

"Most of the things we are commissioning today  was actually with my private money, I have a foundation which I founded about 13 years ago , even before I joined the politics, that have been given back to my community and that is the reason why I continue in regardless of the government or out of government."

Hon. Osho also reiterate his commitment to continue to give out to his community whenever the needs call for it.

While speaking on the May Five Foundation,  he said "May Five foundation is like my petible jet,is a foundation that I actually founded about 13 to 14 years ago,when I finished my university  degree in UK ,I was fortunately to get scholarship to study abroad as an orphan,so on a day that I left university,I promise God that I will continue to give back to my people,that if I can be a beneficiary of free education even outside the country,I will continue to give back to my people,. 

"Since then, 2009 , every year on my birthday, even if it not my birthday,I try to give out to my community,so that is the brain behind May 5 foundation,I actually name it after my birthday,I was born on the 5th of May."

The lawmaker therefore appreciated his constituents for there support and encouragement over the years. 

 "Just like I said I have few days left for my tenure to end ,so I just want to appreciate my people for their support,for their encouragement, because without them ,their wouldn't have been any success to the core"

"So, I thank God for their life,I thank God for them , for their support and I promise them I would continue to be a good ambassador of Remo North and continue to give back to my community anytime they need me for humanity and for service, am always ready to serve my people,and I will have no regrets serving my people, Hon. Osho concluded.
