Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski has hinted at a possible return for Lionel Messi.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lewandowski has claimed that “Messi belongs to Barcelona” and he hopes they can play together next season.
The Argentina captain is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain this summer and is being linked with a move away from France.
Messi only joined PSG two years ago as a free agent from Barca and Lewandowski wants him to return to the Nou Camp.
“Messi belongs to Barcelona, it’d be incredible to see him back here. We know his place is Barça.
“I don’t know what’s gonna happen but I hope that next season Messi can play here and we can be together,” Lewandowski said.
