As a way of expressing grateful heart towards the infrastructural development of Ogun state and Obafemi-Owode local government in particular, the Council Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, has commended the governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for the progress of  working on the ongoing road construction of Ofada to Mowe,and Siun to Owode town, having reached asphalting stage within the shortest time frame that the road construction started.


The Council Boss, Amb. Ogunsola, attested to the pragmatic and concerted efforts of the governor in making life bearable for the people of Ogun state, most especially in Obafemi Owode local government area.


He further certified the quality of work and commitment of the contractors handling the road project and affirmed that the road will stand the test of time.


Meanwhile, on the capacity of the local government in complementing the efforts of the state government on road projects, Amb. Ogunsola promised to commence grading of rural roads within the Local Government area, such as, Abisodun town, Asese Community, Ebute town, all in Ofada ward axis of the council area.


He assured the people of the Council Area of the continuously provision of dividends of democracy and enjoyment of government projects and programs in the local government area.


The Council helmsman therefore enjoined all and sundry to support the government by paying all their levels, rates, dues and taxes to the coffers of the government; as reliance on federal allocation is not enough.


He also prayed that the dreams and aspirations of the governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun be fulfilled as he meant well for the people of ogun state, while noting that, he is a man of his word.
