These are the Eid El Maulud greetings and prayers from the Commander General of Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Umar Bakori dss,fss, Navy Capt (rtd) to all Muslim brothers and sisters.
According to Adeyoyin, S.O. PhD. cln, mismn, Deputy National PRO, Vigilante Group of Nigeria., The CG expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty Allah for sparing the lives of all members of the organization to witness another birthday of Prophet' Muhammed SAW. He noted that the nation Nigeria is going through a trying period when insecurity pervades all geopolitical zones. He however saluted the courage of VGN officers who have contributed immensely to the success recorded so far against insurgency, banditry and kidnapping among other crimes sometimes paying supreme sacrifice.
The CG admonished all members to remain prayerful as we await the signing of our operational bill by the President. He prayed that God will grant our expectations before we celebrate another Eid El Maulud insha Allah.
The Commander General directed that all officers and men remain vigilant and join hands with other security agencies to ensure a crime free holiday period.
