FANIBE WINS IFE CENTRAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP PRIMARIES

The formidable grassroot politician, great political mobilizer and astute philanthropist, Otunba Olusegun Ayodele Fanibe otherwise known as Oko-Arugbo has defeated three other candidates to emerged victorious in the primary elections conducted by All Progressives Congress (APC) for the October 2022 local governments elections.

Fanibe who garnered 2,691 votes to  trounced the incumbent chairman of the local government, Hon. Yera Elugbaju who had 157 votes, Mr. Segun Oladogba who got 46 votes and Mr. Bunmi Adesakin who had 01 vote.

The primary elections which took place across the collation centres of Ife Central Local Government was rancour free as the election was witnessed by the returning officers, men and officers of Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defends Corps (NSCDC), Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Hunter Group of Nigeria,  Western Security Network (Amotekun).

In a statement made available by his Media, Publicity and Strategic Adviser, MacDonald Oladipo, said, "I'm grateful for this shown of love encompassed me by all the party leaders and members who stood by me through thick and thin by making this feat possible."

I'm humbled by this and by His Grace, I will reciprocates the good gestures shown me.

He said, he will brings all on board to achieve a greater Ife Central Local Government which the local government is known for.
