The immiediate past State Youth Leader of Ogun LP, Hon. Yekinni Ibraheem has just dumped the party for the All Progressives Party, APC.
Yekinni announced his defection to APC, in a resignation letter he personally signed.
His decision to resign was based on personal decision after due consultations with his family, political associates and mentors for resigning from the party.
Part of the letter read; *"This is to finally inform you of my decision to re-sign my membership of the LP in Ogun State, The recent developments has exposed the LP in Ogun State as a party lacking in democratic principles which made it expedient to abandon the party, My resignation takes immiediate effect as I wish to thank the Labour Party for giving me the opportunity to serve the party in position as the State Youth leader".
