The former Chairman, Senate Committee on Health, Senator Lanre Tejuoso, on Wednesday said there was no time he promised to endorse any aspirant including Senator Olugbenga Obadara, an erstwhile member of the 7th National Assembly, representing Ogun Central Senatorial district.
Reacting to the purported endorsement, Senator Tejuoso who spoke through his media aide noted that he has not personally or directed anyone to endorse the candidature of any aspirant.
"Senator Lanre Tejuoso has continuosly trustee the judgement of the leadership of the party and at no time will he meddle into the responsibilities and powers of the party or any of its organs."
"Senator Tejuoso thereby appeal to anyone aspiring for elective position to test his/her popularity among the delegates and desist from name-dropping of any sort" the statement reads in part.
