Ogun Community Leader, Oladunni Felicitates Akarigbo Over Award of Doctoral Honour

The Olu of Oke Ariko, Sagamu Dr Olayinka Oladunni has congratulated the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi on the doctoral honour bestowed on him during the 12th Convocation Ceremony of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) on Sunday.

Dr Olayinka Oladunni while felicitating with other honorary doctorate awardees such as  Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewa land, Oba Kehinde, Olugbenle, among others, described the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi as a very rare royal father and for whom the development of Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole remain uppermost in his heart.

The community leader said "I join millions of other indigenes of Ogun State and Remo land in particular to rejoice with our loving father, the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Ajayi on the befitting Honourary Doctorate award in social sciences bestowed on him by the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Ijagun.


"This is no doubt another honour well deserved given the the Paramount ruler's unrepentant commitment towards further development of our dear state. Oba Babatunde Ajayi is not only a reputable lawyer but also an accomplished Fellow of Chartered Accountant and industrialist of repute. He believes so much in pursuing excellence in life and he had since remain a pillar of support and source of inspiration for many in life too"

While rejoicing with Akarigbo over this well deserved honour, the Olu of Oke-Ariko in Sagamu declared that the honour and show of appreciation by TASUED would no doubt encourage the Paramount ruler to remain committed to advancing the progress of humanity.

In the same vein, community leader has equally commended the Gov. Dapo Abiodun for approving the sum of N200m as Annual State Education Intervention Fund while also awarding a princely sum of N2m coupled with automatic employment to Adeniyi Oluwaseyi Ogunyale the best graduating student of TASUED.

Olayinka said "I have to commend our Gov Dapo Abiodun for his serious investment in our education, this sector is witnessing so much turn around since our Governor came in 2019. 

"He has made it a tradition to reward academic brilliance and resourcefulness by ensuring that our children who excelled in their studies are adequately rewarded. This is good because it will serve as morale booster for others. I really appreciate the Governor for trying all he could do at all times to etch his name in gold and it is my prayer that he will record greater success in its determined bid to leave the state far better than he met it", Oladunni stated.
