The Olumide and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation has again rolled out fifty thousands naira (N50,000) worth of scholarship awards to sixty secondary school pupils in Ogun State.
The foundation was founded last year by High Chief Olumide Aderionkun and his lovely wife who decided to assist the masses through the foundation from what God has done for their family.
Recently, the foundation has rolled out empowerment programmes cutting across Abeokuta South, North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda respectively through free interest loan, assisted funds for widow and aged people, distribution of free Petroleum Motor Spirit PMS to motorcycle in the above mentioned local government area to ease their businesses Amebo Newspaper NG learnt.
Again, the foundation has organised a scholarship awards tagged "Project Think Kindly" to support parents who has children in secondary school in this harsh economy of the country today 20th of October, 2021 in Abeokuta city.
Our correspondent gathered that examination was conducted independently across the local government to choose the selected winners, each winner received 50,000 each as scholarship awards to support educational programs by the foundation.
In attendance to witness the event was Prince Lekan Tejuoso, Hon Waliu Taiwo, Hon Soyemi Emmanuel Coker, Former House of Assembly Speaker, Alhaji Semiu Shodipo, Chief Babatunde Odeyemi represented PCRC Chairman in Ogun state, Elder Bidemi Osunbiyi, Hon Nike ItsOkay, Hon Akinlabi Taiwo PDP Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon Biyi Akojede, Alhaja Tijani Zainab, Hon Yinusa Olajide Odeda PDP chairman, Hon Muyiwa Ojebiyi, Obafemi Owode PDP chairman among other important personalities.
The founder of the foundation, High Chief Olumide Aderinokun, while speaking with Amebo Newspaper NG, appreciated the facilitator, Blessing Raymond for making the project possible, also he appreciated the teachers of the schools and leaders of People's Democratic Party PDP as well as the representative of Ministry of Education for witnessing the event.
Hadiza Mohammed, psychotherapist and a life coach, lectured the pupils on mental health (Stress), How to make a right choice and steps to be taken towards successful life.
The beneficiaries of the scholarship awards includes the below names and schools alongside local government.
