The Chairman of Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Hon Adewale Aka, who doubled as Special Adviser to Goveror Abiodun on Special Duties appreciated the sponsor of the historic empowerment as well as members for trooping out in mass to honour the event.
ABEOKUTA— A political group under All Progressive Congress, Dapo Abiodun Like Minds, has empowered it's members with Motorcycles, Sewing machines, Gas Cookers, Standing fans, Barbing clippers, Generators in Abeokuta today 14th of October, 2021.
The historical event was attended by members from the three geopolitical zones in Ogun state, namely West, East and Central senatorial districts.
The executive Governor of Ogun state was ably represented by Her Excellency, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the deputy governor of Ogun State, also in attendance was Hon Afuape Afolabi, Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Amb Tunde Oladunjoye, State Publicity Secretary, All Progressive Congress APC, Senatorial chairmen of DA like minds and other important personalities in the state.
Addressing the members of the group, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele on behalf of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun applauded the group for deeming it necessary to empower the youths to get them engaged in daily activities and shun social vices in the society.
Also, she charged other groups to emulate the spirit of gesture of Dapo Abiodun LikeMinds and ensure all the youths are busy with something tangle to reduce rate of crimes in the country.
