Akogun Wale Raji Anomo Appointed as the Baba Egbe, Ijebu Regberegbe 86, 87 and 88.

Akogun Wale Raji Anomo has been appointed as the Baba Egbe of one of the upcoming Ijebu age grade, Ijebu Regberegbe 86, 87 and 88 in Ijebu land.

The appointment was announced by the group coordinator, Mr Saheed Adeoye Adebayo, on Friday, October 2, 2021 when the group made a courtesy call to the latter in his office at Ikosi-Ejirin in Ikosi Ejirin Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

Akogun Wale Anomo, while receiving the certificate of confirmation from the group at his Ikosi-Ejirin's office in Ikosi Ejirin Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, appreciated the group for finding him worthy for the prestigious position of Baba Egbe of a Regberegbe group in Ijebuland.

He stated, I am really pleased to receive the letter from you regarding my appointment as ‘Baba Egbe’ of your prestigious Ijebu regberegbe age grade. I really want to pass my immense thanks to all the members for this decision. I shall surely try to fulfill what you people expect from me. You are providing me a chance to serve your esteem organization and you’ll definitely feel proud on your decision. I am very grateful to you for this gesture.

Akogun Wale, the Chairman Ikosi/Ejirin Local Council Development Area, Lagos state, is a member and the Akogun Egbe, Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Kuye).

In his congratulatory message, the Giwa Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Kuye), Giwa Alhaji Surajudeen Adesina Lasisi congratulated him for this landmark and turning point lifelong achievement. He wishes him well as he assumed the position of the patronship of an emerging Ijebu age grade which will be given royal blessings and traditional recognition by the Awujale & The Paramount Ruler Of Ijebuland, Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, CFR, JP. Giwa Lasisi also felicitated with the young and new age group for fulfilling one of the many most crucial obligations and prerequisites for any age group in Ijebuland to be recognized by Awujale and be commissioned into the prestigious Regberegbe In Council.
