Unknown Gunmen Shot Nigeria Forestry Service Staff Dead As Passerby Sustain Gunshot Injury In Ogun

ABEOKUTA — Pandemonium struck as unknown gunmen reportedly shot a middle age man, Mr Dare, a staff of Nigeria Forestry Service dead, while Mudashiru Azeez, a passerby sustained gunshot injury during the incident in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Friday 3, September 2021.

An eye witness narrated his side of the story to Amebo Newspaper NG, saying Dare was shot dead by unknown men suspected to be armed robbers who were on a motorcycle at around 8:26pm of Friday at Leme Abiola Way, Abeokuta, they were said to have shot sporadically to scare residents, and accidentally killed Mr Dare while Mudashiru Azeez, a passerby sustained gunshot all over his body. 




Mudashiru Azeez was rescued to State hospital, Ijaiye Abeokuta by men of Nigeria Police Force while the remains of Mr Dare who was in a pool of blood was deposited in the state hospital morgue after the arrival of his family to identify him.

Meanwhile, it was reported that another middle age man, Wasiu was shot dead by unknown gumen suspected to be armed robbers in the early hour of Friday, 3,  September, 2021 at around 5am at Nawarudeen, Oke-Ijeun Abeokuta.
