ABEOKUTA — Barely forty eight hours three passenger on bike was crushed to death in Ago-oko, Abeokuta South area, another unidentified motorcycle rider was reported to have been crushed to his early death at around 07:30am this morning at Mountain Of Fire Church, opposite Enyo Filling Station axis along Abeokuta/Ibadan Highway this morning by a Volvo Truck in a fatal accident.
The motorcycle rider with LAR 839 VM (Bajaj) was crushed by a Volvo truck with Reg number AKD 843 XE (white and black) which was rescued by men of Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE Obantoko unit and Traffic Police.
According to CDR.AKINREMI F.O, DC TRACE Obantoko Division Command, Impatience on the part of the motorcycle rider that faced the onoming truck outbound Asero with high speed resulting in collision led to the fatal accident.
The unidentified motorcycle rider was taken to the State Hospital morgue by the TRACE Operatives, also managed the traffic situation to avoid further gridlock.
