The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) under the chairmanship of Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle has commended Ogun State government in its effort to solve the farmers/herders crisis which has caused unrest in some parts of the State.

According to the publicity secretary of the Union, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya maintained that the government has employed the right measures in arresting the crisis which could have led to loss of more lives and properties.

"We are glad that our amiable and performing governor has not left a stone unturned in the quest to quench the burning fire of crisis between the herders and farmers in Ogun State. Had it not been for his diplomatic approach, things would have gone worse and this is why we implore everyone in the State to join hands with the State government in ensuring that the crisis is put to rest and eternally waved goodbye at".

"For peace to reign, we must all genuinely agree to the "One Nigeria" mantra - this is where our unity lies. We appreciate the effort of Governor Dapo Abiodun since the matter came up. From visiting the areas which are ravaged  by the crisis to delivering palliatives to the victims, it has only further portray the number citizen of Ogun State as a "talk and do" governor. We pray that God Almighty in His infinite mercy continues to grant him (Gov Abiodun) the wherewithal to futher proffer solutions and calmly manage the situation from getting out of hands. No genuine son of the soil will pray for war", Sokoya stated.

The Union also scored the government of Ogun State led by His Excellency,Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR high on the overall performance and all round developmental initiatives across the State.
