Driven by various Agricultural strides in Ogun State and coupled with abundant fertile arable land available in the State, Agrifa International Limited, from United States of America has today, 9th February, 2021, shown its interest to invest in Plantain Cultivation and its diverse value chain opportunities.
The Team Lead, Mr. Jack Namvou, expressed the desire of his organisation cultivate at least 300hectares of land, as a demonstration farm, that will benefit and contribute to the promotion of profitable Agricultural value chain opportunities in the State.
Responding, Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina assured his guests of availability of good farmlands and access to workforce from the host communities, encouraging them to initiate training and capacity building programmes for youths, who will in turn, plant and produce their variety of plantain to ensure adequate supply of raw materials for them at all times.
