Today, 12th October 2020, I had fruitful discussions with representatives of Dangote Group, who have indicated interest in partnership with Ogun State, on Rice Value Chain Opportunities for young people in Ogun State.
Dangote Group through its subsidiary, Dangote Rice Limited, have finalised plans to float a Youth Empowerment Scheme tagged "Dangote Host Community Youths Rice Out-Growers Scheme" at Ibese, Eggua, Yewa North Local Government of Ogun State. The deal was facilitated by the Honourable Member representating Yewa North State Constituency ; Hon Adeyanju Adegoke.
This initiative aligns with Ogun State Government Agricultural Agenda for Food Security and Job Creation.
