Giwa Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye", Giwa Alhaji Suraju Adebayo Lasisi yesterday announced the appointment of Babalaje Gbadebo Alatishe and 4 others as Chairman and members of 2021 Ojude Oba Planning Committee.
Other members of the committee are; Bashorun Oludaisi Yusuf-Legacy; Yori (Comr.) Akeem Temitope Akilo, the Publicity Secretary of the Egbe; Yori Opeyemi Idris and Yori Abdul Adebowale-Paso.
The committee is headed by the Babalaje Egbe, Omooba Gbadebo Alatishe. Omooba Gbadebo will be taken over from Balogun Saheed Kafaru who headed the 2020 edition of Ojude Oba. The 2020 edition was cancelled by Ijebu Traditional Council in Ogun State over concerns for the spread of the novel coronavirus. The Awujale and Paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, announced the cancellation through the Ijebu Regberegbe council platforms amidst the lockdown in few days to 2020 Ileya festival.
Giwa Lasisi said the reconstitution of the planning committee for 2021 edition of the festival was in line with the directive of Awujale, that all the arrangements should be refocussed on the 2021 edition and also for proper and adequate planning in order to have a befitting outing in 2021.
The Chairman Planning Committee 2021 edition of Ojude Oba for Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye", Omooba Gbadebo Adebisi Alatishe was born to Balogun Alatishe Family now "The Gbegande of Ososa Ijebu".
Omooba Gbade attended Moslem School Etitale in 1984, and later proceeded to Adeola Odutola Elementary School where he completed his Primary Education and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1991.
He was admitted into The Prestigious Ijebu Ode Grammar School in 1991 where he obtained his Secondary School Certificate in 1997 (1997/1998 Set) before joining his fathers in his business in 1999 in his car dealership business and building construction work.
Omooba Gbadebo later put in for admission for a part time program in OOU (CESAP) in 2001/2002 and was admitted to study computer science which he graduated in 2007 with B.Sc (Hons). He left d shore of Nigeria to d United Kingdom in 2005 for his Industrial Training (I T) with Gabriel Martin, UK for the period of 1 year.
He returned to Nigeria in 2006 purposely to complete his education after which he left for the Unitef Kingdom and started his own auto car and trucks business. He later relocated to United States of America in 2008.
Omooba Gbade got married in 2009, and moved back to Nigeria in 2011 to start the auto business and construction business in full-time with Tanbata Alatishe Motors And BABITA Global Concept situated @34, ADEOLA ODUTOLA COLLEGE RD IJEBU ODE.
He has travel widely for his automobile business to United Kingdom, Paris, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, Greece, United States of America to purchase Trucks and Cars. He was installed as the Babalaje Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye" in 2018. He is Married And Blessed With Kids.
