OODUA FM Limited, one of the  leading broadcasting outfits and the pride of the West announces the appointments of Barr. (Dr.) Dayo Sobowale Esq, Prince (Dr.) Ayoade Adewopo Esq, Mr Bankole Akinrinade, Prince Demola Ogunfidodo and Pastor Niyi Murele as Non-Executive Directors and board members to oversee the running of Oodua FM 90.9, Ile-Ife.

It would be recalled that the station which prides itself as the 'PRIDE OF THE WEST' recently undertook major transformations which included its structures, equipment and  acquisition of a new management team. Oodua FM is now fully operational and globally reachable via Radio Garden.

The new management team will be led by Mr. Victor Eniola Mark a  competent profesional as its Managing Director with full autonomy to pilot the station to its Eldorado while Hon. Rotimi Makinde will continue to serve as the National Ambassador of the Station while he also serves as the intermediary between the station and the board of directors.
While presenting the new management team to the Ooni of Ile Ife, His Imperial Majesty charged the team to be conscious of the fact the station carries the name of the progenitor of Yoruba land whom he represents as the Arole Oodua and he therefore would love to see them live up to global expectations and surpass every record in broadcasting industry.

In his response, Mr Eniola a seasoned broadcaster and consultant of many years who is also into property and estate management like His Majesty assured the revered monarch that the station indeed would be the proud of the west as he seeks the cooperation of all and sundry, most especially the Ooni himself.

Hon. Rotimi Makinde, in his closing remarks at the presentation ceremony charged  the management team to run a politically unbiased station in line with the principles of the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation.
