Abeokuta - The presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar spokesperson, Chief Segun Showunmi has described the death of Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu as a collosal loss to the political space in Ogun and Nigeria.
When our correspondent visited Sowunmi in his country home in Abeokuta, he said " Ogun state will find someone like Prince Buruji Kashamu but will never see a man with heart of gold, happy spender like Esho Jinadu who always spend without thinking maybe he still has money in his vault, there was a day we went to one PDP leader in the northern part of the country and late Prince Buruji Kashamu started giving them money right from the gate, and I challenged him as I usually call him Egbon, why are you spending this way and his response was that, if he didn't spend people has already heard of Buruji Kashamu and his giving spirit" he said.
Furthermore, he said the most greatest of all moment he loved is when he advised Late Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu to vie for a political position instead of being an ordinary financial member of the party which has no title politically and he listened to him and contested for senate and won.
While speaking on the current situation of People's Democratic Party in Ogun, he maintained that there is no crisis in the party that all hands shall be on deck when it's time for election.
Also, he said he is trying his possible best to ensure People's Democratic Party PDP triumph in the forthcoming election in Ondo and Edo state to add to the governor of PDP in Nigeria.
