Abeokuta - The beneficiaries of Ogun Broiler Project have commenced their third phase of production which involves raising 1000 birds for six weeks for an assured market. The official flag off of the commencement of the third phase of production was held on Friday, 4th September, 2020, at Odeda Farm Institute, Odeda LGA, Ogun State.
The Ogun Broiler Project has witnessed each beneficiary make profits in phases one and two, for two thousand birds, and this current phase involves raising one thousand birds for six weeks. The Government of Ogun State will extend this opportunity to large number of youths in all the Local Government Areas of Ogun State, following the huge success of the first and second phases of the Project.
Present at the flag off event were the Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Director of Agricultural Services, Odeda Local Government, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, among others.
