Ondo 2020: Akeredolu Raises Alarm Over Smear Campaign

Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has raised an alarm that some persons are planning to blackmail his administration, ahead of the October 10, 2020 governorship election.He made this known in a statement in Akure, on Saturday through his Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Ojo Oyewamide.

The spokesperson of the Governor revealed that the smear campaign was at an advanced stage.

He also revealed that the smear campaigns were allegedly planted as stories in about three national newspapers beginning from today, Sunday, August 9, 2020.
