LG Boss, Shomide Commends Abeokuta South Primary Health Care Department For Huge Success On First Caesarean Section

The Chairman Transition Committee, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide has commended the Primary Health Care department for the success of first ceaserean section recorded in the history of Abeokuta South Local Government.He made this commendation when he and his members visited Erunbe Health center of the council area where a baby girl was delivered to the family of Mr and  Mrs Oluwatoyin Idowu through ceaserean section. The baby arrived around 2:00pm on the 30th of August, 2020 and the baby weighed 2.5kg.                              
Hon. Shomide further thanked His Excellency,the Executive Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the transformation that is on-going within the state which brings about the renovation and upgrading of Erunbe Health center to a level that availed the center all what it takes to carry out the operation successfully.                    

Speaking earlier, the director of Primary Health Care, Abeokuta South Local Government,Dr. Solarin Mufutau,who performed the operation testified to the fact that the Ceaserean Section happens to be the first of its kind in the history of the Council area and the third the mother of the new born baby have undergone.   
                  
He, however, appreciated the Executive Governor of the State for uplifting the standard of Erunbe Health Center and also thanked the Council boss for his timely response towards the success of the operation.   

The council boss later presented a gift to the new born baby and the mother who are responding well to the treatment.           
Present at the center during the visit are: Vice Chairman,Mr.Samod Olanrewaju, Secretary to the Local Government, Alhaji Nurudeen Ayorinde, Supervisor  for Health,Mrs. lyabode Adebanbo, Head of Local Government Administration,Mrs.Bukola Adeniregun
