...Abiodun's Political Adviser, Adeleye, assures of inclusiveness

Sagamu - The ranks of the All Progressives' Congress (APC) in Ogun State received a major boost yesterday as notable politicians loyal to a former lawmaker, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu switched allegiance to the ruling Party.

The decampees dumped the 'LADO group' of the PDP with a resolve to support to All Progressives Congress, APC led by Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Hon Ladi Adebutu represented Remo Federal Constituency in the eight House of representatives.

Leading hundreds of the decampees, Hon. Azeez Bello popularly known as 'Arole' and Mrs. Josephine Makanjuola (Mamak) said it became necessary to support the present administration in the state, owing to the fact that the APC had made remarkable achievements in all sectors in less than 15 months at the helms of affairs in the Gateway State.

Bello who was a personal assistant to Adebutu before his defection said, "our decision to dump the LADO group became imperative after realizing that the group had no clearly stated vision. It is a group full of money mongers who are not ready to record any progress politically other than self-aggrandizement. We wanted a platform with focus and vision, and after a thorough search, deliberations and considerations, we found the APC as the best option".

On her part, Makanjuola explained that her decision to lead supporters to the APC was  because of Governor Abiodun's developmental strides which is enviable among the other states in the country.

Welcoming them to the party, the Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on political matters, Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye commended the new party members for deciding to join the progressives.

He assured them of inclusiveness in all activities of the party.

Other APC Leaders at the event included; Hons. Sesan Asenuga, Joko Adekunbi, Muri Awolaja, APC State legal adviser, Gbolahan Asenuga, APC Women Leader in Sagamu local government; Mrs. Yoboro, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya among others.
