Abeokuta - Three time members of house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade who is now representing Ogun State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Abuja has monitored the nationwide on going recruitments into Nigeria Police Force. 

Akinlade was received by the State Commissioner of Police Mr Edward Awolowo Ajogun and his team. 
While conducting the FCC Commissioner round, Police Commissioner, gave kudos to the Inspector General of Police by making the recruitment a grassroots based with the concepts of community Policing . 
Hon Akinlade expressed satisfaction on the recruitment exercise and assured the applicants that selections will be  on merit and competency without fair or favour.

"The Federal character principles of fairness, equity and balancing will be used in selecting the final list across the 20 local governments in the State", Akinlade noted. 

Akinlade while thanking the Commissioner of Police for a job well done, commended the Ogun State Police Command for being proactive in the way they carry out their operations. 

He charged them to continue make the State safe for people and that the State government under Prince Dapo Abiodun is ever ready to support the Ogun state Command to succeed. Federal Character Commission has the mandate to ensure fairness and equity in the distribution of post and socio-economic activities. Rt. Hon Akinlade Abiodun was at the Police  Command with the FCC State coordinator Mr Adeniran and other State officers. The ongoing  Police recruitment exercise will end next week Saturday
