......“No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.” by Friedrich Nietzsche

.....There can be no better time to offer those big men in various prisons custody across Nigeria a "plead bargain" solution than now...We are in a future of uncertainty, our economy is not fairing well. The effect of global decline in the price of our major sources of income is here, the land sliding effects on international crude oil price will soon be here as proceeds from oil is always three months after its sales, meaning from May 2020, Nigeria shall begin to struggle to survive economically and payment of common civil servants salaries will become a very difficult task when indeed there is little or no internal revenue to compliment. The reality is finally here that we have failed over the years for not diversifying our economy and relying too much to make Oil the only bedrock of the nation's economy.

Plead bargain is an arrangement between prosecutor and defendant whereby the defendant pleads guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for a more lenient sentence or an agreement to drop other charges. Most of this big men convicted and presently in our prison custody can actually cough out billions of dollars apart from naira which by implication is nothing to them in exchange for their freedom. This set of people are so stupendously rich with many assets not traced to them to by our investigation team or agencies.

Therefore, as we appreciate the federal government through the minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the minister of justice, Mr Abubakar Malami whose sporadic reaction to this world endemic granted amnesty to about 3000 prison inmates accross Nigeria. A very good gesture indeed, but i guess Nigeria need what could actually give them leverages and good fund at this moment of endemic than the mere release of more mouths to our saturated economy. Keeping most of this Big men and rich people in the correctional centres in the name of one corruption or the other is of no significance  or importance to a common man on the streets and to market women who are at this period groined for foods. Already this people we referred shall continue to have the ex convict tag on them for life, they can not stand up to contest, pose no security risk or hold any public office and some restrictions can be place on them. Therefore, releasing them after they have refund reasonable percentage of the money we accused ,investigate and found them guilty of  is the best option...To the criminals, let them prepare to bargain in good faith, prepare to tell the truth and be respectful, ready to make concessions to walk away from the deal knowing they got all they could, no price is definitely too much to get reconnected to the society and to steal no more.
