Ogun: Odemuyiwa Backs Gov. Abiodun's Relief Food Bank, Makes Constituency Happy During Lockdown

Remo North - Baanu Life Foundation (a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2018 by Prof (Rev) J. S. Odemuyiwa in memory of his late mother has commenced the distribution of food items to the old and poor women across Remo North Local government.

The exercise which was designed by the Organization to provide succour to the people during this lockdown to complement the efforts of the state government will be personally supervised by Prof Odemuyiwa - the President of the foundation and Special Adviser to the state governor on Tertiary Education, Ogun State. 
Odemuyiwa, while speaking with Amebo Online Newspaper correspondent, affirmed that the food distribution is targeted to 250 beneficiaries in the first phase and mostly grassroots people in the sub-hub region of Remo to complement the efforts of the government palliative package in Remo North. 

Also, in the second phase Odemuyiwa said the foundation shall be targeting about 150 women and aged who are vulnerable.

"Baanu Life Foundation has engaged in several free health services over the years and will continue to provide for the society to maintain their "Life here and life after" motto. Life here: how to live here is how to live comfortable by granting loan to the women while Life after: through evangelism, my preaching gospel on how to make heaven after all struggle of life." Odeyemi said. 

In the same vein, he commend the people of Remo North local government for exhibiting high level of responsibility by complying with government measures to end the Coronavirus pandemic by maintaining social distancing, staying at home and washing their hands at all times with alcohol based sanitizer.
