Transition chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has warned both the indegenes and dwellers at Abeokuta South Local Government to ensure they eat hygienic meals that will improve their healths.

Abeokuta South Local Government, The matter came up during February 2020 environmental sanitation exercise when a food handler with set of baked-dough (i.e. Bread) fell into the gutter while on motorcycle; wanted to sell it to customers in the environment.
She was apprehended by the environmental personnel for the condemnation of the illicit act and thereafter educated her on how she should be handling her foodstuffs assured her that the seizures would be incinerated as to avoid not to be sold to anyone in the environment.
Hon. Shomide, in his usual magnanimity gave the food handler and money for the loss of her goods, admonished her not to indulge in such a detrimental act for is an evil attempt if she does.
Earlier, the Director of Water Supply and environmental sanitation, Sanitarian E.A Sodeke advised the citizens to tidy up their various surrounding in the stipulated hours of the exercise.
This was featured ditto to the release from the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment that there would be no restrictions of movement within Abeokuta township because of the grand finale of Lisabi day celebration.
