Pandemonium as JAMB cancels first set of results (2020)

It is no news that the first set of results were released on Monday 16th 2020 which exam was written on the 14th of March 2020. Some persons where excited that they beat the cut off mark, while majority of students are complaining that they did not meet up to 200 marks. Some scored 170, 180, 160, 130, etc while the highest so far is 300 plus from an Akwa Ibom student.

Reports have it that there are some techinical errors from the CBT centres as the computers making the results made so many errors while marking the first scripts.

This recent news has brought so much excitement on those low-mark students, while, it's a sad news for those high-mark students.

As i speak right now, the JAMB portal for checking JAMB results, is closed until further notice. The first set result has been cancelled and will be remarked (this should be on process) and as soon as the marking is done, the portal will be re-opened and the new results will be out.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that this new marking will favour all our JAMBITES.
