There was a pandemonium in Ekiti State yesterday following the sudden death of the 15th Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland, Aare Gani Ige Adams driver Akeem Olurebi Ayinla.
Yesterday 27th was the beginning of the Oodua Progressives Union OPU summit which is being hosted by the Ekiti State government, the summit is to witness all the coordinator of the union all around the globe to showcase culture and traditions in their various endeavours.
According to report reaching Amebo Online Newspaper, Akeem Olurebi Ayinla popularly known as 50 litre by his friends and associates was said to have received attack while driving Aare Ona Kankaafo to the government house to visit Governor Kayode Fayemi with his entourage, he was instructed to park the vehicle immediately Aare Gani noticed his hands and body was shaking simultaneously, he was said to have gave up to ghost before getting to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Our efforts to reach Aare Gani Ige Adams after the incident to ascertain the controversy surrounding his driver's death all proof abortive.
