Senator Ben Uwajumogu Slumps, Dies

Senator representing Imo North, Ben Uwajumogu, is dead. News of his death filtered in during plenary on Wednesday

This was confirmed by his colleague representing Imo West, Senator Rochas Okorocha, as well as Senator Elisha Abbo from Adamawa state.

He reportedly collapsed and gave up the ghost at a private hospital. Aged 51 years, Senator Uwajumogu was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
