Nigerians Enter Prayer Session As Super Eagles Striker Is Rushed To The Hospital

Nigerians have reacted with fervent prayers for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen following an incident after a game on Monday night.

The former Golden Eaglet striker was rushed to a French hospital as he complained of severe chest pains after his team Lille defeated Monaco 3-0 in a French Cup game.

Osimhen had opened scoring in the 19th minute, while Loic Remy added two more goals as Lille cruised into the next round.

The club have released a statement saying the striker is out of danger, but the hospital are insisting that they will keep Osimhen overnight for more observation.

Lille and the hospital are not taking chances as there is a history of African footballers slumping and dying of heart related issues.
