Police Rescues Man From Jumping Off Third Midland Bridge

A picture captured the dramatic moment Nigerian Police Officers saved the life of a man who tried to jump off the 3rd Mainland Bridge.

Picture released by on Instablog shows the harrowing rescue by the heroic Police Officers.

At around 7:30am on Monday 25th November, two unnamed Police Officers responded to emergency calls reporting a man walking in 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

The officers reached the man just in the nick of time.

When the officers arrived, the man was crying in front of a stopped car and shortly after he sprinted to the ledge. 

The man tried to jump over the barrier in what appears to be a suicide attempt, but the legendary officers were able to pull him back just in the nick of time. 

The police officers pulled the man back to safety and restrained him until he calmed down.

He was then taken Adekunle Police Station for his family to be contacted.

Many viewers praised the officers in the comments and for saving the man's life. Some attributed the bizarre incident to the unpalatable economic conditions in Nigeria.
