Comrade Lion Olujimi Adekunle David has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in congratulating party stalwart and a stakeholder in Ogun State, Chief Sunday Sowunmi on his birthday.
Olujimi Adekunle David in a statement issued by his media aide on Monday, felicitated with the foremost leader, his family, friends and colleagues on the the opportunity God has blessed him with.
Olujimi extoled the vision, bravery and forthrightness of Chief Sowunmi in instituting long lasting changes in Abeokuta South over the years, particularly the investments in people by enhancing the health, educational and physical infrastructure standard in the grassroots through his connections.
As a well respected leader, Comrade Lion Desmond Olujimi Adekunle David acknowledged the vocal and frontline roles Sowunmi played in ensuring a return to democracy and the entrenchment of democratic principles in governance by continually challenging the norms and emphasizing the rule of law, people friendly policies, probity and accountability.
The local government chairmanship aspirant affirmed that Ogun State has benefitted a lot from the robust and responsive leadership style of the elswhile leader, believing that as he grows older, his invaluable wisdom will be most useful for the growth of the nation.
Olujimi Adekunle David aka Desmond prayed that the almighty God will grant Sowunmi longer life and good health to keep serving the people of Abeokuta South he loves so much.
