Police has arrested three members of a gang who specialise in defrauding members of the public by pretending to be an Alfa with spiritual powers.
They were apprehended by angry mob and taken to Adigbe Police Station, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to Akanni Oladimeji Balogun They are Sulaiman Arigbabuwo Aka Imam Quadri, Yusuff Temiro also known as Adewale Oloko Ameed and one Alhaji, while one of them escaped during the arrest by members of the public who have been searching for them.
Items recovered from them include six mobile phones, one red Toyota Camry with number plate KRD 595 FU and several fake documents Amebo Online Newspaper learnt.
Sulaiman Arigbabuwo who came to fraudulently collect money from another victim was caught in the act.
Having been on the acts for long, he was said to have used proceeds of the fraudulent practices to build a school, frozen food shop and three flats of three bedroom.
Meanwhile , members of the public are afraid the suspected criminals could be released after gratification with the self confidence they are radiating when taking to Adigbe police station.
