The Transport Union Committee in Ogun State under the leadership of Barrister Sunday Adeniyi in conjuction with The Xanderena Foundation has given free health care to the transport workers in Ogun Central Senatorial district.
According to Adeniyi while speaking with Amebo Online Newspaper correspondent said the free health care is a continous process which shall be extended to other senatorial districts with targeting of 500 beneficiaries.
"It is an opportunity for the transport sectors for them to be informed about their health, It is only people who are healthy that can drive motors, and it is the healthy people that can ride motorcycles, we are giving this healthcare for these sectors free of charge said Adeniyi."
The free health care support comprises of Dental, Eye Clinic, Blood Pressure BP tests among others.
While appreciating the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE for their support on lecturing the drivers on safety, Adeniyi also urged the drivers to be safety conscious in their drivings as we are about to enter the ember months.
