Ahead of the November 16 governorship elections in Kogi state, peace has returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state as the two warring State Executive Council factions at the weekend reconciled and promised to work together to ensure the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Sources said at end of the meeting which was facilitated by Governor Bello, the Haddi Ametuo faction agreed to withdraw all pending court cases and recognise the Abdullahi Bello- led executive as the authentic exco of the APC in the state.
