Be Good Ambassadors of Your State, Adheres to Professional Ethics: Gov Bello Charges Cadet ASPs

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has charged cadet ASPs of Kogi origin to be Good ambassadors of the state while urging them to stick to their professional ethics in the discharge of their duties. 

The governor, in his office on Thursday 16 May, gave the charge while receiving 20 Cadet ASPs currently undergoing training at the Nigerian Police Academy.

Bello urged the officers to dedicate themselves to the service of their fatherland while charging them to be good ambassador of the state. 

He said he met a lot of irregularities such ethnic and class considerations in the governance of the state,  absent of critical infrastructure, inactive civil service system, insecurity and others.


He said he has been able to change the narratives with the collective effort of the stakeholders on the principle of equality, fairness and justice.

Speaking on behalf of the ASPs, A. O. Isaac commended the Governor for providing leadership of all-inclusiveness which she said has fostered unity and cohesion among the various ethnic groups in the state. 

Isaac said the governor's giant stride in fighting insecurity is in public domain and commended his administration in the area of infrastructure development.
